A large aquatic hub with long, slender creeping stem rooting at the nodes.
Leave 0.3-0.6m in diameter, orbicular, cupped, petioles very long; flowers solitary, large, white or rosy, with many petals. Flowers July.
Cultivated in tanks in the State.
