Common Names. :- Marathi. Terada.
An annual, 30-90 cm. high; leaves long, alternate, lanceolate.
Flowers rose cloured, showy.
There are varieties with double flowers and different shades of colour from pure white to crimson.
The garden may be kept gay throughout the year on balsams only.
